Skyrunner Guest House is a five room country cottage with two bedrooms and easily accommodates five people (take our tour, see PHOTOS and SLIDESHOW). One bedroom has a pillow top king mattress and the other has both a full bed and a twin bed. The large and comfortable living room couch can also be used allowing for accommodations of up to six adults. Skyrunner is located on one acre of treed grazing land in Fayette County, Texas and a beautiful and peaceful 3/4 acre park with trails in the back of the cottage; quiet and private. With Fayette County being essentially rural and agricultural there are the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, the pastures, and the gently rolling hills. Inside you will find five beautifully decorated rooms with a well balanced blend of antique, retro, vintage and modern decor. The reading and game room is a fine breakfast nook and the full kitchen is has all of the necessary utensils. The living room with satellite HDTV; games, books and movies; the peaceful breezy covered deck and the comfortable bedrooms promise you a wonderful stay.
Less than two miles away is La Grange, Texas, the county seat and a Main Street town with its nicely restored square and newly renovated historic court house which has been used as staging for movies. Fayette County is rich in art, culture, history and agriculture. The famous Round Top Antique Fair, Festival Hill and the new Czech Heritage Cultural center are located within just a few miles of Skyrunner Guest House.
